African Star Denies PSG Victory In Six-Goal Spectacle
Paris Saint-Germain 3-3 AS Monaco
Paris Saint-Germain were denied victory in their first Ligue 1 game of the year after playing to an entertaining 3-3 draw with AS Monaco on Sunday night.

After Neymar had put PSG into an early lead, Monaco hit back through goals from Gelson Martins and Wissam Ben Yedder.

However,  an own goal from Fode Toure and a penalty from Neymar had the hosts leading at the break.

The visitors managed to secure a point thanks to a 70th minute strike from former Leicester City striker Islam Slimani.

Saint-Etienne 0-2 Nantes
Nantes moved up to fourth spot on the standings with an impressive 2-0 victory away to Saint-Etienne on Sunday afternoon.

Mehdi Abeid got the scoring underway in the 23rd minute, before Ludovic Blas bagged the second goal three minutes after the break.

Nantes sit in fourth spot at the midway point, while Saint-Etienne have dropped to 15th position.

Dijon 1-0 Lille
Lille dropped out of the top four after a 1-0 loss to Dijon at the Stade Gaston-Gérard on Sunday afternoon.

Júlio Tavares bagged the game's on goal with his fourth league goal of the season on 47 minutes.

Both sides also finished the game with 10 men as Dijon's Hamza Mendyl received a straight red in the first while Boubakary Soumare was given his marching orders in the 67th minute.
