Holders Liverpool qualified for the round of 16 as winners of Group E after defeating RB Salzburg 2-0 at Red Bull Arena.
After a deadlocked first stanza, Naby Keita eventually found the breakthrough for the Reds three minutes before the hour-mark, nodding into an empty net after some good work by Sadio Mane.
Mohamed Salah sealed the win and qualification for the Reds with a superb strike from a tight ange two minutes later.
Jurgen Klopp's army finished at the top of the pool with 13 points, one point clear of second-placed Napoli, while Salzburg had to settle third place and will compete in the UEFA Europa League.

Napoli cruised to the last 16 with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Genk at Stadio San Paolo on Tuesday evening.
Arkadiusz Milik stole the show for the home side after completing a hat-trick within 35 minutes in the first stanza, while Dries Mertens scored the fourth goal for the hosts with 16 minutes remaining in the second stanza.
Carlo Ancelotti's charges qualified as the second-best team in the section. Meanwhile, Genk who had no prospects of progressing any further, finished at the bottom of the pool with only one point after six rounds of matches.
