After coronavirus impact, now Honda hit by cyber attack

Japanese carmaker Honda said Tuesday that it has been hit by a cyber attack that disrupted its business in a number of countries, though it expects the overall impact to be included.
The company said in a statement that “a cyber attack has occurred on the Honda network.” It said there is no breach of info, but that it's attempting to “minimize the impact and to restore full functionality of creation, sales and production activities.”
“At this stage, we check out minimal business impact,” the business said.
Production found in Japan is back to normal, after getting disrupted Monday morning, in fact it is also expected to resume Tuesday found in North America.
Production at Honda’s UK factory found in Swindon has been suspended through the COVID-19 lockdown and the attack is not expected to considerably alter it is plans to resume functions this week.
Honda Motor Co. causes its popular Civic model at the factory, 115 kilometres (70 miles) west of London, with an outcome of 150,000 cars each year. The plant will permanently close up coming year with the increased loss of 3,500 jobs amid a restructuring targeted at adjusting its businesses to reflect more robust demand in Asia and THE UNITED STATES.
