Air Arabia resumes direct flights to Ukraine
Air Arabia is resuming its low-cost flights to Ukraine.

The airline will get started flying to Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital from October 25. It will operate four flights weekly from Sharjah International Airport.

Flights are scheduled to depart the UAE right before 7 pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Travelers will land at Boryspil AIRPORT TERMINAL at 10.30 pm local time.

Return flights will depart Kyiv at 11.20 pm on a single day, landing in Sharjah soon after 6 am the next day.

One-way fares for the flight cost from $265 (Dh975).

Ukraine reopened to travelers in June but closed its borders again soon after. It has reopened to visitors but countries are categorized by zone. Travelers from Red Zone countries, which includes the UAE, must quarantine for two weeks or show a poor Covid-19 certificate test used days gone by 48 hours. Visitors from Green Zone countries do not need to self-isolate. All travelers will need to have insurance that covers Covid-19 treatment.

Air Arabia is continuing to resume its network as travel restrictions devote place to support the coronavirus ease. To date, the airline is flying to 40 destinations from its hub in Sharjah.

Sharjah Airport has opened a 4,000-square-metre expansion featuring four new gates, nine waiting areas, modern security equipment, and rooms for folks with reduced mobility. Additionally, there are new restaurants and a duty-free shop.

UAE residents, GCC nationals, and passengers carrying visas on arrival or visitor/tourist visas are permitted to enter the country through Sharjah Airport Terminal.
