Alaskan Airlines plane flies through blood orange skies on California

While California continues to burn up from wildfires, pilots flying in and from the state are having to navigate orange, smoke-filled skies.
A good video of a plane removing from San Francisco International Airport on Thursday showed some of the conditions that pilots are dealing with.
Airport authorities at SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA International Airport shared the take-off video recording of Alaskan Airlines Air travel 3458 since it departed for Palm Springs.
In the video, the airport disappears from view soon after take-off and is replaced by thick orange plume. As the pilot ascends above the clouds, visibility increases but the surrounding sky remains vividly rust-coloured.
The Embraer jet navigates through thick clouds that seem almost such as a desert sandstorm before finally reaching a height where the clouds begin to turn white again and a blue sky is visible in the distance.
Equivalent scenes were shared in cultural media depicting jets landing and departing in eerie orange-hued skies that were described by various as apocalyptic.
Cars driving over the talk about had to keep their headlights on as the heavy orange smoke blocked out the sun. On Twitter, the hashtag #Orangesky was trending as persons posted photos and video lessons of scenes from over the state.
On Sunday, September 13, the Federal Aviation Authority's air traffic report confirmed that "smoke and haze from wildfires tend in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA and Seattle".
A lot more than 20,000 firefighters from over the USA are battling sprawling deadly wildfires along the West Coast, a lot of which have been spurred by record-breaking temperatures. A spate of fires in El Dorado the other day were ignited by a spark from a gender reveal party.
Wildfires have destroyed a lot more than 2.27 million acres in total in California this year, the highest recorded damage within a year.
