All 29 Teams Qualified For The World Cup So Far
With five African nations cementing their places at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, here are all 29 countries that have so far qualified for the tournament in Qatar later this year.

On Tuesday night, five representatives from the African continent – Senegal, Morocco, Ghana, Tunisia and Cameroon – celebrated as they booked a place at the world's biggest football competition.

While Ghana and Cameroon advanced past Nigeria and Algeria, respectively, via the away goals ruling, Tunisia and Morocco beat Mali and DR Congo on aggregate over the two-legged tie. Senegal, meanwhile, beat Egypt in a penalty shootout. They have now joined four South American nations – Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador and Uruguay – in securing a place at the World Cup.

The Selecao qualified from the CONMEBOL group following 14 victories in 17 matches, and impressively remained unbeaten throughout.

Their continental rivals Argentina, led by captain Lionel Messi, also got through the qualification phase without registering a single defeat, winning 11 of their 17 games.

Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani will also be at the World Cup following Uruguay's two wins in this international break.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal beat North Macedonia 2-0 in their final qualifying play-off match on Tuesday, on the same night Robert Lewandowski scored in a triumph over Sweden to secure Poland a spot at the tournament.

The likes of the Netherlands and Germany, who met in an international friendly on Tuesday, had already secured their places, while France will be looking to defend their title following their incredible showing at the showpiece in Russia four years ago.
