Amazon's White Friday sales to get started on November 24
23 November, 2020
E-commerce giant Amazon said it'll host its White Friday sales which will provide discounts on a lot more than 30 product types for Middle East consumers.
Customers can enjoy savings as high as 70 % on big-name makes from November 24 to November 30, the e-commerce site said found in a affirmation on Sunday.
Amazon Prime participants will reap the benefits of 12-hour early access to the sale from 11am tomorrow. Customers who aren't Prime members can sign up for a free 30-time trial, the business said. Prime customers are also eligible for free next-day delivery on eligible goods, without minimum purchase required.
“The White Friday sale is the most highly-anticipated shopping event in the UAE,” said Abdo Chlala, director of advertising and Primary, Amazon Mena.
Online retail sales found in the UAE is expected to cross $1.5 billion in the fourth quarter of the year as Covid-19 drives users to increasingly shop online, relating to a written report by RedSeer Consulting earlier this month.
Customers using Emirates NBD, Emirates Islamic Bank and Liv cards for White Friday sale deals may also benefit from yet another 15 per cent lower price up to Dh75 on eligible orders, the business said.
New bargains will be added each day on the internet site throughout the seven-day event. Amazon will also help shoppers support small native businesses in the UAE through coupon offers.
Customers found in the UAE may also shop for discounts from the Amazon US Black Friday Sales through Amazon.ae’s Global Shop from November 24 to November 30. Prime customers are eligible free of charge intercontinental shipping from Amazon US with no minimum purchase through the White Friday sale.
Amazon first commenced its White Friday event found in the UAE six years ago. It is a spin-off of the global shopping phenomenon, Black Friday, which began as an American strategy but which in the future gained traction all over the world.
Black Friday refers to the Friday after the Thanksgiving holiday, during which stores in the US traditionally slash some rates by up to 90 %.
