Apple iPhone 11 design suddenly makes sense
With Apple’s new iPhone 11 design becoming a reality in a few short months, analysts are predicting that it will have one of the worst sales figures in years. This is partly due to the ugly stove-top design that will come with the iPhone 11. While this iPhone will be skipped, the 2020 iPhone is expected to come with a major upgrade that will turn Apple’s fortunes in their favour. As per a report by Forbes, the groundwork for next year’s iPhone is already being laid and its most radical change lies within the internals of the iPhone 11.

This major news comes via insanely popular Apple-dedicated Youtuber EverythingApplePro who shows off the first images of iPhone 11’s logic board and as Forbes describes it “forms the cornerstone of headline changes which will be seen in iPhones for years to come. “

On the surface, the change appears minor as Apple will be shifting from an L-shaped logic board that’s found in the iPhone X and XS to a more rectangular design that’s compact and stacked. With this change, Apple is able to fit a larger battery in the iPhone 11 which the YouTuber claims are 15-20 per cent larger. This will help with the transition from 4G to 5G as well as providing a bit extra capacity for reverse wireless charging devices like the Apple AirPods.

Filip Koroy of EverythingApplePro states that Apple is taking batteries very seriously this year and by adding reverse wireless charging, they will test the groundwork needed to add a bunch of features in next year’s 2020 iPhone.

Forbes states, “How accurate is Koroy? He has had some misses but, in this instance, he has attained multiple independent sources and he published a transcription from a third who vouches for them as “100% accurate”. The timing also makes sense since previous iPhone logic board leaks have appeared between July and August as Apple begins to ramp up production and components start hitting factory floors.”

So the question but naturally arises — should you purchase the iPhone 11? We feel that even though Apple is adding these features, it still doesn’t warrant an upgrade. Now, on the other hand, the 2020 iPhone makes more sense and waiting for that version will be highly beneficial to consumers the world over.
