Another chance fell for the Arsenal forward in the 27th minute, with the Gabonese sending a close-range effort over the crossbar with only a defender and Karl Darlow to beat.
The Magpies, meanwhile, didn't register a single effort on target through the entire opening 45 minutes, with Miguel Almiron going closest with a go from the edge of the region that sailed over the crossbar.
The deadlock was eventually broken 5 minutes in to the second half when Aubameyang ended his frustration with a low finish beyond Darlow after being played in by Partey.
The lead was doubled on the hour mark as Smith-Rowe raced down the left flank before selecting Saka for the sweeping finish from 12-yards out.
The hosts weren't done there as Cedric Soares produced his way in to the box before drilling a cross into Aubameyang who applied a simple touch to finish into the empty net, with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) approving the target.
Three goals were enough on the night time as the Gunners moved up to 10th spot while Newcastle stay in 15th after suffering a sixth successive away defeat.
