Barca Break Silence On Golf club Raid & Ex-President's Arrest

After police raided the Camp Nou offices and reportedly arrested former FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu, the Catalan giants have produced a statement on the situation.
Earlier on Monday, reports found in Spain stated that police are investigating the so-called "Barcagate" scandal after high-profile statistics such as Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, Xavi Hernandez and Pep Guardiola were targeted for a good smear campaign by a good social media enterprise reportedly hired simply by Barcelona themselves.
With the company said to have been hired by Bartomeu, who resigned as president of the Blaugrana by the end of October 2020, the former chief is thought to have been arrested, along with a few others, on Monday.
Barca have since released a assertion on the problem, saying they will support the authorities inquiry and the judicial procedure, and that those investigated will be observed as innocent until confirmed guilty.
"Before the entry and search by the Catalan Police this morning in the Camp Nou offices beneath the instruction of the Instructing Courtroom number 13 found in Barcelona, which is in charge of the case associated with the contacting of monitoring solutions on social networks, FC Barcelona have offered up their total collaboration to the legal and police authorities to help with making clear points which are at the mercy of investigation," he official statement read.
"The information and documentation requested by the judicial police relate strictly to the reality relative to this case.
"FC Barcelona exhibit its great value for the judicial method in place and for the basic principle of presumed innocence for the persons damaged within the remit of this investigation."
