Baskin-Robbins Opens Hanok-Themed Outlet

Ice cream franchise Baskin-Robbins has opened an outlet in Seoul's Samcheong-dong, which is well-known for its quaint winding alleys.
Among the hanok or traditional houses was remodeled in to the ice-cream parlor keeping its traditional tiles, wooden pillars and a surrounding fence and adding a newly created garden space for customers, operator SPC Group said on Thursday.
Since its grand opening on Oct. 23, the signature outlet has been serving ice cream and drinks made out of ingredients often used in traditional Korean snacks.
