Billie releases new song 'Therefore I Am'

With Thanksgiving along the way, Billie Eilish gave her fans something to be extra grateful for this year. The Grammy-earning singer debuted a fresh song along with a lighthearted music video Thursday. The sole, titled "Therefore I Am," is on all streaming platforms. The song's lyrics are about a mystery one who Eilish sends a clear message to: "I'm not your friend or anything / Damn, you feel that you're the person / I think, therefore, I am" she sings.

"Give up, what the hell will be you discussing? Get my real name out of the mouth area," she continues. Within an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe about "Therefore I Am." Eilish, 18, wouldn't explain who -- if anyone -- the song was written about."This song is very, extremely up for interpretation," Eilish said of the brand new track. "I'm incredibly curious to discover what people obtain from it and in addition what they feel if they hear it. I don't know. But yeah, it's a little mean. I love it."

The video, dropped with the song, was shot on an iPhone, she said and shows her playing around a deserted mall swiping snacks, including a pretzel, donut, a glass or two, fries and Chipotle chips from stores in her path. The singer added that she "can't f**king wait" on her behalf fans to hear the album she made during her period quarantined due to the coronavirus pandemic.
