Brooklinen makes its move into organic cotton
After years of customer requests, DTC home essentials brand Brooklinen is introducing its first bedding and bath collection made from organic cotton.

Launching today, the assortment includes GOTS-certified sheets, duvet covers, towels, robes and bath mats. The home textiles were developed with Brooklinen’s existing partners in Turkey and Portugal. All pieces in the Brooklinen Organic Collection are also Oeko-Tex certified for chemical safety.

Organic sheet bundles – which include a sheet set, duvet cover and 2 extra pillow cases – start at $370. Organic sheet sets start at $219. A 2-pack of 30×58-inch organic ribbed bath towels is priced at $89.Brooklinen has been looking to add an organic cotton collection for some time, said Rich Fulop, CEO and co-founder – “and doing it thoughtfully and intentionally was important to us. We did our research and made a big investment to make this launch as great as it possibly can be.”

Brooklinen’s organic bedding is constructed of a lightweight percale weave made of 100% long-staple cotton and garment-washed finish for extra softness. The organic bath collection introduces a new horizontal ribbed texture made of Turkish cotton in a midweight.

Bedding colorways include white, vanilla, warm clay, blue marina and desert stripe. Bath colorways are white, vanilla, blue sea and sunstone red.

“The Organic Collection was made with the earth in mind, so it was only fitting that our color palette was inspired by nature,” said Deanna Wu, Brooklinen’s VP of merchandising.

The new collection is available on the company’s website and in Brooklinen’s retail stores across the country.

To celebrate the launch, Brooklinen is partnering with The New York Bee Sanctuary, which includes building wildlife sanctuaries for honey bees and pollinators. Brooklinen will provide a monetary donation to organizaition and host localized events with internal teams across their store fleet throughout Earth Month.
