BTS snags initial ever Grammy nomination for a good K-Pop band

Southern Korean boy band BTS over Tuesday snagged the 1st ever Grammy nomination for a K-pop band, acquiring the worldwide sensation a step closer to winning the music award. Since their debut in 2013, the seven-member band has been at the forefront of South Korean pop music, lately notching their earliest ever NUMBER 1 hit single on the Billboard charts in America with "Dynamite".
The first-time nominees shared on Twitter their live-streamed reactions with their 2021 Grammy nomination in the very best pop group performance field. In the video, four of the seven people - the first choice RM, singers Jimin, Jungkook, and V - spring up from a sofa, clap and cheer in joy as the nomination because of their hit single "Dynamite" is announced.
"Above all, ARMYs are the types who helped this miracle become a reality - of us obtaining the Grammy nomination. Many thanks always," BTS stated on Twitter, addressing the group's fan base, referred to as ARMY, an acronym for Adorable Representative MC for Youth. Hashtags "Grammy Nominated BTS" and "Heading to Grammy" were trending on South Korean Twitter. Thousands of supporters retweeted the reaction clips and congratulated the group on their accomplishments: "So pleased with you guys," a good Twitter user commented.
