Official: Chelsea Confirm Exit Of First-Team Star

Premier League giants Chelsea have confirmed the permanent departure of a first team star.
The Blues have confirmed that forward Timo Werner has completed a return to RB Leipzig on a permanent basis.
Werner joined the Blues from Leipzig in in 2020, but failed to replicate the scoring form he showed during his time with Leipzig. Despite the inconsistency in front of goal, The Germany international did play his part in helpingn the club secure their second UEFA Champions League title after scoring a vital goal in the semi-finals against Real Madrid.
Overall, Werner racked up 89 appearances for the Blues while registering 23 goals and 21 assists in the process.
