China has no new local COVID-19 cases outside Hubei for third day

China reported zero new locally transmitted coronavirus instances beyond Hubei province, the epicentre of the outbreak, for the third straight day, while key Chinese places remained on alert for imported attacks.
Mainland China had 19 new cases of coronavirus attacks on Monday (Mar 9), the National Health Commission said on Tuesday, down from 40 cases a day earlier.
Of the new cases, 17 were in Wuhan, the provincial capital of Hubei which is under lockdown, while one was in Beijing and one other in Guangdong due to persons arriving from abroad, in line with the health authority.
That brings the full total quantity of confirmed cases in mainland China up to now to 80,754.
