China reports second consecutive day of no new native coronavirus transmissions, imported circumstances rise

Mainland China reported another consecutive day of zero new local coronavirus attacks as the epicentre of the epidemic Hubei province opened its borders, but imported instances rose as Beijing ramped up controls to avoid a resurgence of infections.
A complete of 67 different cases were reported by end-Wednesday, up from 47 a day earlier, which were imported, China's National Wellness Commission said in a affirmation on Thursday (Mar 26).
The total number of instances now stands at 81,285.
The commission reported a complete of 3,287 deaths towards the end of Wednesday, up six from the previous day.
Each of the new sufferers were travellers who found China from overseas, with the mainland reporting no locally transmitted attacks on Wednesday.
Shanghai reported the many cases with 18 accompanied by Inner Mongolia region by 12 and Guangdong province at 11.
The number of new daily cases remain down sharply from the height of the outbreak in the country in February, allowing Beijing to push for restarting monetary activity in the world's second biggest economy.
Hubei province, home for some 60 million persons, reported no new situations on Wednesday and opened up its borders. Public transfer restarted and residents in the location of Xianning strolled the streets wearing masks.
The lockdown of Hubei's capital Wuhan, where the virus first appeared later this past year, will be lifted on Apr 8, a milestone in China's war against the epidemic as Beijing shifts its focus towards stemming imported cases and rebooting the economy.
Fearing a new wave of attacks from imported cases, authorities possess ramped up quarantine and screening actions in other major cities including Beijing, where any kind of travellers arriving from abroad must post to centralised quarantine.
