Common diets for trapped China miners as rescue continues
Ten personnel trapped for 14 days after an explosion on a northern China gold mine have already been provided with a standard diet plan as attempts to bring them to the top continue, status media reported in Sunday (Jan 24).

One of the personnel is reported to experience died while the fate of 11 other folks is unknown. Rescuers possess used loudspeakers and units to find heat and motion without results, based on the Xinhua News Agency.

Surviving workers have been given a nutrient solution, but rescuers can now provide regular drink and food, along with outfits and different supplies, Xinhua reported.

The shaft is reportedly blocked 350m below the top by 70 tons of particles that extends down another 100m. Rescuers estimate another two weeks will be had a need to bring the staff to safety while they drill more shafts for conversation, ventilation and, perhaps, evacuation.

Exhaustion has occur among some of the workers since the Jan 10 explosion ripped through the mine that was under construction in Qixia, a jurisdiction under Yantai found in Shandong province.

Mine managers have been detained for waiting around more than a day before reporting the car accident, the cause of which has not been announced.

Increased supervision has much better safety on China’s mining industry, that used to average 5,000 deaths each year. But, demand for coal and precious metals proceeds to prompt corner-slicing, and two mishaps in Chongqing last year killed 39 miners.
