Electric Vehicle Exports Surge

Exports of electric vehicles last year raised by 66 percent on-year, defying a standard slump in the auto market as a result of coronavirus pandemic.
The Korea International Trade Association said on Sunday that shipments of EVs found US$3.9 billion. Just a little over two thirds of the shipments went to Europe.
Korea was the fourth-largest exporter of EVs on the globe from January through September.
Exports of electric cars outpaced those of hybrids for the very first time.
