Elon Musk says Tesla eyeing Russia as being a potential production hub
Elon Musk said on Friday that Tesla was close to establishing a occurrence in Russia and was first looking in whether it could open factories there.

Addressing a meeting in Russia via video link, Musk stated the business already had development sites in China and the United States, but was looking at beginning production services in other areas of the world.

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade invited Musk to Russia.

"Dear @Elonmusk, we were delighted to learn you are considering creating a factory found in Russia. Incidentally, we have a number of state support methods for local OEMs (Main Equipment Producers). Come to see us, we'll speak about it:)," it stated on social mass media in English.

Russian small exclusive carmaker Zetta is developing a power car and plans to start production this year.

The auto industry in Russia, a worldwide coal and oil exporter, has no successful electric car projects at the moment and analysts see slim prospects soon, primarily because of poor charging infrastructure.
