Emirates and Etihad in-air distancing tactics: zero online check-in or seat selection

Travellers collection to fly out of your UAE on special repatriation flights will never be in a position to check-in online before departure, or select their seats for travel.
Emirates is selling tickets for special services flights online, however the Dubai airline will not allow passengers to check-in online or perhaps choose their own chairs. Rather, seating will be assigned by Emirates crew at the airport terminal so as to follow physical distancing guidelines in the air.
Emirates happens to be operating repatriation flights from Dubai to London, Brussels, Frankfurt, Paris and Zurich. Emirates advises travellers to check requirements for their destination nation via the International Atmosphere Transport Association's web-site before booking these flights.
The airline will also operate a lower meal service, with special meals unavailable at that time when regular passenger flights in and out of the UAE are grounded,
Etihad to allocate chairs by social-distancing rules
Etihad is operating its special services with an identical approach. Passengers can book repatriation flights on the Etihad website, but travellers flying from Abu Dhabi will have to complete check-in at the airport.
Seats may also be allocated by Etihad staff in order to give people as much space seeing that possible from other passengers.

Reminder: gloves and face masks must be worn
Emirates features reminded travellers that they need to wear a nose and mouth mask and gloves to assure boarding for their airline flight during this time.
This comes after a directive from the federal government in Dubai advising that masks should be worn constantly outside the home.
US airline blocks middle seats
Delta, America's greatest airline, has laid out its new in-flight sociable distancing policy.
From April 13 until May 31, Delta has blocked all middle seats in Market and Premium Market class cabins on all flights.
Passengers can check found in and select seats online, but the number of travellers on each air travel will be reduced. Travellers that are looking to sit following to family members have to inform Delta before travel.
Delta continues to fly within the US and internationally to Amsterdam, South Korea, Japan, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Canada.
