England Edge Closer To WC With 5-0 Thrashing
Andorra 0-5 England

England edged closer to securing a spot at next year's World Cup with a 5-0 thrashing of Andorra on Saturday night.

Ben Chillwell got the scoring underway on 17 minutes with his first goal for the country, before Bukayo Saka doubled the lead five minutes before the break.

Tammy Abraham extended England's lead in the 59th minute while James Ward-Prowse and Jack Grealish added the fourth and fifth goals respectively in the final 10 minutes.

Poland 5-0 San Marino

Poland got back to winning ways in Group I after putting five past San Marino at Stadio Narodowy.

Karol Swiderski and own goal from Cristian Brolli put the home side two goals in the first half, before Tomasz Kędziora, Adam Buksa and Krzysztof Piatek sealed the win in the second stanza.

Moldova 0-4 Denmark

Denmark bagged a fourth straight win in Group F with a 4-0 victory over Moldova.

All four goals arrived in the first half, with Andreas Olsen, Simon Kjaer, Christian Norgaard and Joakim Maehle finding the back of the net.

Sweden 3-0 Kosovo

Sweden got back to winning ways in Group G after thrashing Kosovo 3-0 on Saturday evening.

Emil Forsberg, Aleksander Isak and Robin Quaison all managed to score for the Swedes.

Scotland 3-2 Israel

Scotland left it late at Hampden Park to secure a 3-2 win over Israel in Group F.

The hosts had to come from behind on two occasions as John McGinn and Lydon Dykes cancelled out strikes from Munas Dabbur and Eran Zahavi.

Scotland then got the winner in second-half stoppage time thanks to Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
