Erdogan: Turkey wants better relations with Israel

President Tayyip Erdogan said over Friday that Turkey want to possess better ties with Israel and that talks at cleverness level continued between the two sides, but criticised Israeli plan toward Palestinians while "unacceptable".
The two countries experienced a bitter falling out in clumps recently, despite strong commercial ties, expelling ambassadors in 2018. Ankara possesses repeatedly condemned Israel's occupation in the West Lender and its own treatment of Palestinians.
Speaking to reporters after Friday prayers in Istanbul, Mr Erdogan stated Turkey had problems with "people at the top level" in Israel and that ties might have been "very different" if it were not for those issues.
"The Palestine insurance plan is our red range. It is impossible for us to simply accept Israel's Palestine plans. Their merciless works there are unacceptable," Mr Erdogan explained.
"If there have been no concerns at the very top level, our ties might have been completely different," he added. "We wish to get our ties to a much better point."
Turkey and Israel, former allies, expelled each other's top diplomats found in 2018 over clashes when a large number of Palestinians were killed simply by Israeli forces in the Gaza border. Ankara and Tel Aviv continue to trade with one another.
In August, Israel accused Turkey of giving passports to twelve Hamas users in Istanbul, describing the move as "an extremely unfriendly step" which his government would raise with Turkish officials.
Hamas seized Gaza from forces loyal to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in 2007, and the group has fought 3 wars with Israel since that time. Turkey says Hamas is certainly a legitimate political activity that was elected democratically.
Earlier this season, Mr Erdogan was accused of hypocrisy for criticising Gulf claims for moving to determine ties with Israel. Mr Erdogan threatened to cut ties with the Gulf over the maneuver despite Turkey having possessed relations with Israel since 1949.
