Final The Best FIFA Men's Player Ranking Revealed
19 December, 2020
FIFA has revealed the ultimate ranking because of this year's The Best FIFA Men's Player award, with an African superstar just passing up on the top three.
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski was the clear favourite before Thursday night's awards ceremony, which took place in a digital format.
Needlessly to say, the Poland forward beat Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to the coveted trophy - his first as of this level.
Lewandowski finished ahead of second-placed Ronaldo to lift this year's prize, collecting 52 voting points, while the Juventus superstar received 38.
Messi completed the podium with 35 points, with Sadio Mane ending up in fourth position with 29 points.
Kevin De Bruyne rounded out the most notable five after receiving 26 points, yet another than Mane's teammate Mohamed Salah claimed.
Kylian Mbappe (with 19 points), Thiago Alcantara (17), Neymar (16), Virgil van Dijk (13), and Sergio Ramos (7) complete the final ranking.
