German minister commits suicide after 'virus crisis worries'
Thomas Schaefer, the financing minister of Germany's Hesse talk about, has committed suicide apparently after becoming "deeply worried" over how exactly to cope with the economical fallout from the coronavirus, point out premier Volker Bouffier said Sunday.

Schaefer, 54, was first found dead near a good railway monitor on Saturday. The Wiesbaden prosecution's business office said they consider he passed away by suicide.

"We are in shock, we will be in disbelief and most importantly we are immensely unfortunate," Bouffier explained in a recorded affirmation.

Hesse is home to Germany's financial capital Frankfurt, where major lenders like Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank have their headquarters. The European Central Lender can be located in Frankfurt.

A visibly shaken Bouffier recalled that Schaefer, who was simply  Hesse's finance chief for a decade, have been working "night and day" to greatly help companies and personnel deal with the economical effect of the pandemic.

"Today we need to assume that he was first deeply worried," said Bouffier, a good close ally of Chancellor Angela Merkel.

"It's precisely during this difficult time that we would have needed an individual like him," this individual added.

Popular and well-respected, Schaefer had always been touted just as one successor to Bouffier.

Like Bouffier, Schaefer belonged to Merkel's center-proper CDU party.

He leaves behind a wife and several children.
