Hayek, best Mexican filmmakers pitch in to aid industry workers

Celebrity Salma Hayek along with Oscar-winning Mexican directors Guillermo del Toro, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and Alfonso Cuaron, has got joined hands with sector colleagues to set up a fund to support Mexican industry personnel who lost their careers amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The audiovisual emergency fund is named Sifonoforo, reports variety.com."Those folks who make films certainly are a fragile tribe, with many people who perform ordinary jobs that are, subsequently, extraordinary within their specificity and the years of preparation it requires to understand them.
