Hertha Berlin returned from three goals right down to force a 3-3 draw with Fortuna Dusseldorf in an exciting Bundesliga come across on Friday night.

With quarter-hour remaining in the contest, Hertha were awarded a penalty after chaos inside the box. January acquisition Piatek stepped up and converted the spot-kick for his first Bundesliga goal as parity was restored.

Second-half substitute Opoku Ampomah found the trunk of the web for the hosts in the last eight minutes but his goal was disallowed for offside.

Ultimately, the sides settled for a share of the spoils as Fortuna remain in 16th spot while Hertha climbed up to 13th on the log.
