Insurance asset management firms launch products exceeding US$32 bn

For the first eight months of this year, 23 insurance asset management companies registered 109 debt investment or equity investment plans, with a total registered size of 224.795 billion yuan (US$32.73 billion), Xinhua news agency reported.
Among the latter, there were 57 infrastructure credit investment plans, with a registered size of 145.465 billion yuan, 50 real estate credit investment plans with a size of 73.83 billion yuan, as well as two equity investment plans with a size of 5.5 billion yuan.
In August, insurance asset management firms registered 26 asset management products, with a total registered size of 66.775 billion yuan, including 17 infrastructure credit investment plans, eight real estate credit investment plans and one equity investment plan.
By the end of August, all the insurance asset management companies had initiated the establishment of 952 various types of debt and equity investment plans, with a total filing scale of 2.3 trillion yuan.
