Jonty Rhodes' Thank You Message To MS Dhoni For Being With His Family Will Win Your Heart
27 January, 2018
Jonty Rhodes' love for India is well known.
Jonty, arguably the greatest ever, sometimes wins hearts of fans with his words of praise for the country.
He also named his first daughter after the country. Because of him, who was roped in as the fielding coach by Mumbai Indians post his retirement, the level of fielding in the Indian Premier League has witnessed a big improvement.
The 48-year-old is currently on a vacation in India and was seen sharing plenty of photographs from different parts of the country. From taking a dip in the Ganges, to eating authentic South Indian food at his favourite hangout place in Mumbai, Jonty has been doing it all. There aren't many overseas cricketers who love India, the way Jonty does. Here's are some of the photographs Jonty posted on his social media accounts while exploring the country.
Jonty once again won hearts of fans as he posted a photograph where former Indian skipper MS Dhoni can be seen holding his son Nathan.
"There are always feelings of concern when family leaves after 2 incredible months together, but I need not have feared; as they were in safe hands @msdhoni getting some advice from India and Nathan Jon on how to play in SA - he told them “mujhe pata hai” #SAvIND dhanyavaad Mahi," Jonty tweeted.
Dhoni was leaving for South Africa for the upcoming limited-overs series. Yuzvendra Chahal had also posted a photograph from his Twitter account with Dhoni and Axar Patel.
The limited overs series will kick off from February 1 where Men in Blue will play six ODIs and three T20 Internationals.
Meanwhile, under Virat Kohli's captaincy, India are trailing 0-2 in the three-match Test series against the Proteas. Barring Virat Kohli, none of the other batsmen have managed to put up a fight with the bat in the Rainbow Nation.
