Kate Middleton's garden style at the Chelsea Flower Show – in pictures
Designing a RHS Chelsea Flower Show garden is, it seems, busy work. The Duchess of Cambridge has been out and about showing the garden off to family members, as well as members of the press, at the popular annual show no less than four times this week.

At the London show, the mother-of-three has worn everything from an Erdem gown to high street dresses and relaxed jeans.

The annual Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace also took place this week. For the occasion the duchess wore a new Alexander McQueen coat dress, with a pair of pearl earrings previously owned by Prince William's late mother, Princess Diana.

Earlier in the week, Kate stepped out in a chic navy and white polka dot dress, the same dress she wore in Prince Charles' 70th birthday portraits in November 2018.

A popular look, the Alexandra Rich dress has also been worn on Sarah Jessica Parker, Ivanka Trump and Daisy Ridley in the past. Suits star Abigail Spencer also wore it to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's May 2018 wedding.

She is known as a style icon the world over, and the Duchess of Cambridge's sartorial spree has shown no signs of slowing down in 2019, interestingly since stylist and former Vogue staffer Virginia Chadwyck-Healey joined her team in December.

One of the Duchess' most popular looks of the year so far, which has been credited to Chadwyck-Healey is the Gucci blouse and Jigsaw wide-leg trousers look she wore to visit a children's centre in March.

Chadwyck-Healey, her ex-boss, former British Vogue editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman wrote in a Daily Mail column: "At Vogue, Ginnie was retail editor, a role that involved hosting reader events and industry trend talks. Her skill was in translating fashion information for real people rather than edgy fashion shoots.

"You can see how all of this would be invaluable to the Duchess, whose every hiking boot and clutch bag is analysed and scrutinised. While Catherine has a very distinct sense of her own style, she is not interested in spending hours poring over fashion pages and reading designer profiles."
