Kia Launches New-Look Ray Subcompact
Kia launched an upgraded version of its Ray subcompact on Monday.
The Ray was the best-selling subcompact car in the domestic market in the first half of this year, with 18,518 units sold.
The new-look Ray bears Kia's new emblem and has a seat belt reminder system for all passengers. It is equipped with enhanced safety features such as a forward collision alert and a lane-departure warning system. It also has a digital gauge cluster, extra storage space in the back and a luggage net.
The box-type car comes in two versions -- standard and van. The van model can be configured into a camper.
The standard model costs from W13.55 million to W15.80 million, and the van model from W12.75 million to 13.60 million (US$1=W1,131).
