Kia released a completely revamped version of its K5 sedan on Thursday.
The new version, which arrives more than four years after its predecessor, boasts a sleek and dynamic exterior with a longer hood, shorter trunk and lower car body. Its signature "tiger nose" front grille is integrated with the headlamp, creating a bolder and sportier look.
The K5 is packed with safety and convenience features including a voice-operated air purifier.
It has already sold some 16,000 units in pre-orders since Nov. 21, a record for the carmaker.
The gasoline version is priced at W23.51 million to W31.41 million, while the hybrid model costs W27.49 million to 33.35 million (US$1=W1,188).
