Lionel Messi's first goal with Inter Miami had a heartwarming dedication but it was not for his family
Lionel Messi's debut with Inter Miami in the Leagues Cup was an emotional one from start to finish, as emotional as the MLS and the soccer world can get as he has become since the World Champion's signing with the franchise owned by Jorge Mas and David Beckham was announced.

A few days ago, Leo's generosity made headlines after he responded out of the blue to a request from teammate Leonardo Campana, who was looking for tickets for this Sunday's presentation at DRV PNK Stadium.

The day began with the Argentinean meeting in the stands with another great player on a par with his legend, basketball player LeBron James, with whom he exchanged a few words and a big hug that went viral as soon as it was broadcast on social media. Messi came on as a substitute when the game was 1-0 with a goal by teammate Robert Taylor, meanwhile, Cruz Azul tied the score and Inter Miami had to make new opportunities, an effort that was rewarded almost at the end of the game with a great free kick goal that is now living history in U.S. soccer.

Leo Messi's goal and dedication
Leo Messi showed his human side as he dedicated the goal and the match to his teammate Ian Fray, who left the field due to injury, to the visible concern of everyone at Inter Miami: "I want to dedicate the victory to Ian, who was suffering in the locker room because of the injury. He is a very young guy who has already suffered two serious injuries and I hope he recovers once again," Messi told MLS microphones at the end of the match.
