Malaysia reports 3,631 new COVID-19 situations with 18 new deaths, highest daily fatalities

Malaysian health authorities reported 3,631 fresh coronavirus cases about Friday (Jan 22) with 18 innovative fatalities, the best daily death toll up to now.
Friday's figures take the total amount of infections to 176,180. A complete of 660 persons in Malaysia have died of COVID-19.
On Thursday, Malaysia extended limitations on activity in the administrative centre Kuala Lumpur and five says until Feb 4 to combat a surge in coronavirus infections, effectively putting most of the united states under lockdown.
Following the expansion, the time of the Movements Control Purchase (MCO) enforced on almost all states was standardised.
On Tuesday, authorities announced that six claims in Malaysia will be placed under the MCO from Friday.
The six states are Kedah, Perak, Pahang, Terengganu, Perlis and Negeri Sembilan. The measure will be in effect until Feb 4.
