Malaysia studies 41 new cases of COVID-19, most associated with religious event
Malaysia reported 41 new cases of the brand new coronavirus on Saturday (Mar 14), most associated with a religious event on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur that was first attended by about 10,000 persons from several countries.

The new cases bring the full total number of instances in the united states to 238. 

The religious event had drawn about 16,000 participants, a majority of whom were Malaysians. 

A good participant from Brunei was said to possess contracted the coronavirus after attending the gathering. He tested confident on Wednesday and was Brunei’s first COVID-19 circumstance. Brunei has since reported a complete of 25 cases, typically from the religious event. 

The cluster in addition has infected several Singaporeans.

By Friday, 33 COVID-19 patients found in Malaysia have "made a complete recovery", Malaysia's overall health director-standard Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah earlier said.

On Friday, Primary Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said all gatherings, including international meetings, sports, social and religious events will be postponed or cancelled until Apr 30.

Muhyiddin said the upsurge in coronavirus cases was first because of two new clusters, mostly involving Malaysians.

He said that Malaysia will maintain steadily its travel restrictions. 

There happens to be an inbound travel ban over the Chinese provinces of Hubei, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Malaysia in addition has banned tourists from Hokkaido, Italy, Iran and South Korea.

He added that the Malaysian authorities will further tighten screening, restrict travel and offer special lanes for tourists from other damaged countries.
