Manchester City are continuing with their preparations for next season and have now signed an Argentine wonderkid.
While the Citizens' social media accounts will never be active this weekend as a result of social media blackout, Brazilian outfit Estudiantes announced the sale of Dario Sarmiento.
"We are able to reveal that, upon completion of certain requirements established in the transfer agreement signed with Manchester City, Dario Sarmiento will join the English team from July 1 onwards," the club announced on the website.
Sarmiento becomes the Citizens' second signing prior to the new campaign after the aquisition of Brazilian starlet Kayky, who'll join up with the team in 2022.
The winger, who's a Argentine junior international, is set to cost the Premier League leaders a reported £5.2million with add-ons.
Sarmiento became the next youngest player to debut for the Estudiantes at the age of 16 2 yrs ago.
Manchester Evening News claim the 18-year-old may very well be loaned out as he'll not be eligible for a work permit.
