Man with axe smashes New Zealand Parliament doors
Police said a guy armed with a great axe smashed the cup doors that web form the main access to New Zealand's Parliament in early stages Wednesday but did not try to enter the building.

Police said these were called to the complex in the administrative centre, Wellington, at 5:25 a.m. after getting reports that a man have been seen with a great axe. They stated that 10 minutes later, they arrested a 31-year-old guy without incident.

New Zealand's 120 lawmakers are on a summer months break, and there have been few persons in the construction at the time.

The person has been charged with intentional destruction and possession of an offensive weapon. If determined guilty, he could confront seven years in prison.
