Mbappe: What I Called Neymar In Fit Of Rage

Kylian Mbappe has revealed what he angrily called Neymar behind his back in a fit of rage after the Brazilian superstar did not pass the ball to him in a crucial moment.
Towards the end of last month, cameras picked up the 22-year-old badmouthing Neymar on the PSG bench after he was substituted in a Ligue 1 match against Montpellier.
Frustrated that he was not given the ball in a moment when he felt he could have scored, Mbappe seemed to complain to teammate Idrissa Gueye once he had been taken off.
In a recent interview, the France international admitted that he called Neymar a "bum" at the time, but also explained that he has already discussed the matter with the Selecao international privately.
"Yes, I called Neymar 'bum' because I wasn't happy with a pass," he told L'Equipe.
"These are things which happen all the time in football.
"That's why, right after, given how it blew up, I spoke to him about it. This happens because we want to win. That's it – no issue."
