Moderna will charge governments between US$25 and US$37 per dose of its COVID-19 vaccine candidate, according to the sum ordered, LEADER Stephane Bancel told German weekly Welt am Sonntag (WamS).

"Our vaccine therefore costs a comparable as a flu shot, which is between US$10 and US$50," he was quoted as saying.

On Monday (Nov 16), an EU official involved in the talks said the European Commission wished to reach a cope with Moderna for the way to obtain an incredible number of doses of its vaccine candidate for a cost below US$25 per dose.
