New smart Spotify residence display suggests playlists to fit your routine

With several music software vying for your attention, Spotify has come up with a smart upgrade to its home screen, so that it is somewhat intuitive for your convenience.

What you get is a homescreen that suggests your favourite playlists according to your regime at different times of working day. Open the app each morning, and along with a ‘Good Morning hours’ greeting it might suggest a playlist for your work out, later a podcast for your workplace commute, and perhaps during the night a soothing collection of songs that will help you wind down.

Spotify does this simply by learning your design of hearing music and podcasts. The transition throughout the day takes place on six tiles at the top of the brand new home screen.
