Niger 1-0 Ethiopia
Niger got their first points of the campaign after a late and narrow 1-0 victory over Ethiopia in Group K at Stade General Seyni Kountche.

After a goalless first stanza, Youssef Oumarou snatched the winner for Niger in the 73rd minute from the penalty spot.

Nigeria 4-4 Sierra Leone
Leaders Nigeria threw away a whopping four-goal lead to draw with Sierra Leone in an eight-goal thriller in Group L at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

Alex Iwobi netted a brace, while Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze were also on target for the Super Eagles as they raced to a 4-0 lead in the first half an hour.

However, after Kwame Quee pulled a goal back for Sierra Leone just before the break, the hosts capitulated to three late goals from Leone Stars, with Mustapha Bundu among the goals and Alhaji Kamara scoring a brace, including the equaliser in the last four minutes.

Mali 1-0 Namibia
Mali remain unbeaten in Group A after a slender 1-0 win over Namibia at Stade du 26 Mars.

El Bilal Toure broke the deadlock for the hosts in the 33rd minute from the penalty spot and that proved to be the winner as Mali clocked seven points.

Morocco 4-1 Central African Republic
Morocco opened a two-point gap at the top of Group E and remained unbeaten after hammering Central African Republic 4-1 at Stade Mohamed V.

Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech netted his brace in the first stanza after an early opener by Achraf Hakimi before Zakaria Aboukhlal scored in the second stanza as Morocco cruised to victory.

Louis Mafouta scored what proved to be the consolation goal for CAR in the first stanza.

Tunisia 1-0 Tanzania
Tunisia rmaintained their perfect record in Group J after edging Tanzania 1-0 at Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi.

A penalty in the first stanza scored by Youssef Msakni was enough to hand the Carthage Eagles their third victory in as many matches and extended their lead at the top of the mini-log to six points.
