Nike launches swimming classes for ladies in Dubai

Nike has announced the launch of its first swim clinic for women led by Tunisian Olympian swimmer Sarra Lajnef.

The swim clinic comes as part of what the international sportswear brand says its goal to market usage of sports for ladies in the region.

The free swim clinic, which kicked off on November 1, will run until Saturday, November 28, together with Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai and good fourth Dubai Fitness Challenge.

“I am extremely thrilled at the opportunity to drive Nike’s first-ever swim clinic forward. Since I was four years old, I've found true salvation and freedom in water which is something I want other women to experience too. I have always been very passionate about swimming and to be able to coach others and introduce them to the beautiful sport is something that brings me immense joy and excitement," said Lajnef in a statement.

The swim clinic, which is for both beginners and intermediate level swimmers, is part of Nike’s 30-day calendar of fitness and movement. Nike can be offering free access to YouTube live-streamed classes which range from Hiit (high-intensity intensive training), yoga, dance and mindfulness.
