Oscar-nominated filmmaker Noah Baumbach features signed a multi-year deal with streamer Netflix. As part of the new package, the filmmaker's up coming feature for the streamer is White Noise, an adaptation of Don DeLillo's seminal novel of the same brand. The movie, which will reportedly star Baumbach's partner Greta Gerwig and Marriage History actor Adam Driver, will start production later this season.Baumbach will produce the project together with David Heyman, with whom he likewise produced 2019's Marriage Story.

"When I were only available in the film industry I dreamed of having a home. It took me about 25 years but it was worth the wait. I couldn't become more thrilled to be making films with Ted and Scott and everyone at Netflix, who are amazing collaborators and family and friends," he explained in a statement.

Ted Sarandos, Co-CEO and Chief Content Officer at Netflix, hailed Baumbach to make "many of the most personal and influential films on American cinema"."When we started to interact almost 4 years back, he immediately felt like family group and I'm thrilled we're finally rendering it official," he added.

Baumbach's collaboration with Netflix started with The Meyerowitz Tales (New and Selected), starring Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and Emma Thompson. The movie possessed premiered to rave evaluations from the critics at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. The filmmaker used it up with Marriage Report, starring Driver and Scarlett Johansson in the lead.
