Nourison Home bows collection certified to the Global Recycled Standard

Nourison Home will unveil a new collection next week as part of its on-going initiative to develop innovative products that reduce environmental impact.

The new Sustainable Trends collection of area rugs is woven from recycled yarns according to the Global Recycled Standard. The voluntary product standard establishes protocols for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labeling.

Nourison’s new sustainable collection features abstract rugs that available in 6 styles of warm neutrals with a high-low construction to create depth and dimension.

“The collection is targeted at the growing number of environmentally conscious consumers looking for products that are sustainable and better for our planet,” the company said. During the fall New York Home Fashions Market next week Nourison will also feature a wide range of accent rugs in both warm neutrals and soft colors that complement a range of decorating styles.

The company’s home accessories introductions will feature multiple styles in both on-trend and timeless designs crafted to appeal to a diverse range of tastes and preferences.

In addition, the Mina Victory Home Accents division will introduce a new selection of cotton pillows in pastel stripes and ivories. New styles also include cozy pillows in deep greens, soft reds and warm saffron shades sure to complement various decors.
