Official: Chelsea Confirm Two First-Team Exits
European champions Chelsea have confirmed two departures for the 2021/2022 season, with Michy Batshuayi and Kennedy going out on loan.

The Blues have announced that the Belgian striker has joined Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas on a season-long loan.

In addition to moving out on loan, Batshuayi has signed another contract extension until 2023 although it remains to be seen if the club have any ambitions to keep him in the long-term.

Batshuayi expressed his delight at securing a move to the Turkish top flight on Wednesday afternoon.

"Very very happy to join," he tweeted.

The Blues have also confirmed that Brazilian full-back Kenndy will spend the season loan at Brazilian outfit Flamengo.

"Kenedy has extended his contract with Chelsea and returned to Brazil on loan with Flamengo for the 2021/22 season," the club confirmed.

"The winger will spend the coming campaign back in his homeland after completing his switch to Flamengo, who share the same Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro as his first professional club Fluminense."
