Official: Liverpool Announce Deadline-Day Signing

Liverpool, who have acquired a quiet transfer window to date, have finally released the signing of Ben Davies from Preston North End.
The 25-year-old centre-back has joined the Reds on the ultimate day of the January transfer window in response to the club's injury crisis within their defensive department.
Davies joined the Reds for a good reported fee of about £2 million (R41 million) after completing a good medical on Monday.
The defender made 129 appearances in the Championship for Preston after joining the club from York City in 2014.
