Pink piggy problems for Iggy Azalea
On Friday, rapper Iggy Azalea released In My Defense, her second studio album and first major record in five years. But adding to the excitement, as per Eonline, was the popular children's character Peppa Pig, who also decided to release its first album, My First Album. In response to the news, Iggy jokingly tweeted, "It's over for me now."
To which Peppa Pig's Twitter account responded, "Peppa's so fancy, you already know." Not to take it lying down, Iggy countered, "Collab with me now or you'll end up a breakfast special peppa (sic)." Talking of it to E! News, Iggy clarified that she was nervous about Peppa Pig releasing an album. "But I'm beating her on the chart today, surprisingly," Iggy added. True that. Iggy's album hit No. 22 on the iTunes UK chart, while Peppa's is at No. 55. Iggy's record is also No. 5 on the US chart, where her pink nemesis has not charted.
