Featuring a large, simple to use digital touchscreen display and advanced features such as automatic setup and multiple programmable label pages for easy change overs even with labels of different sizes, it is built to deliver impressive performance in any situation.
Label-Aire's 3138-TS print applicator is constructed of rugged stainless steel and anodized aluminum for tough, corrosion resistant performance in any environment and has been designed to provide the long-term reliability businesses need. With relatively compact dimensions, it is built to fit seamlessly into any workflow, delivering exceptional performance at a lower cost than previous models.
This new printer applicator features redesigned electronics for robust, long-life operations, with easier access through a split cover, it also includes easier tamp assembly field kit installation and a new pneumatic panel for easier component replacement and lower maintenance costs. Rate compensation provides improved label placement accuracy while the 3138-TS also benefits from advanced, user-configurable I/O connectivity for ease of use in every environment.
The tamp assembly can now be adjusted between 1 in. to 10 in. (25.4mm to 254mm) and features stainless steel rods and locking collars for durability and reliability. The ambidextrous parts unit can easily be swapped to allow opposite hand operation for convenience and flexible operations. Together these new features ensure that the 3138-TS is easy to set up and any changeovers can be accomplished quickly, saving time and money where it matters. With flash memory for simple downloading of system updates, the 3138-TS is designed to deliver long-life performance and with flexible I/O will seamlessly fit into any workflow. A stepper rewind is fitted as standard for waste take up, and a number of options are available to create the perfect system to meet individual needs. This includes a merge labeling (wipe-on) option, air-blow labeling conversion, a 17 in. (432mm) powered unwind, label on pad detection, 98% swing tamp configuration and dual action tamp (DAT) configuration. Label-Aire printer applicators are fully compatible with all major OEM print engines.
