PSG Miss Out On Top Spot, Real Thrash Celtic

Juventus 1-2 Paris saint-Germain
PSG missed out on top spot in Group H despite defeating Juventus 2-1 at the Allianz Stadium. With no Neymar in the squad, PSG soldiered on and got the breakthrough in the 13th minute when Lionel Messi turned provider to play in Kylian Mbappe, who slotted past Wojciech Szczesny. 

Juventus did manage to level matters six minutes before the break when Leonardo Bonucci turned home Juan Cuadrado's cross. 

PSG would go on to restore their lead when Mbappe played Nuno Mendes, who drilled into the far corner for his first-ever goal in the competition, but Benfica's big win means they have to settle for second spot. 

Maccabi Haifa 1-6 Benfica
Benfica secured top spot in Group H after thrashing Maccabi Haifa 6-1 on Wednesday evening. Gancalo Ramos, Petar Musa, Alex Grimaldo and Rafa were on target for the visitors to cancel out Tjarron Chery's first-half penalty. Henrique Araujo and Joao Mario netted in the final stages of the second half, which saw Benfica leapfrog PSG into top spot on goal difference.

Chelsea 2-1 Dinamo Zagreb

AC Milan 4-0 Salzburg
Chelsea ran out 4-0 winners over Red Bull Salzburg in their final group game on Wednesday night. Olivier Giroud bagged a brace on the night before he set up Rade Krunic for his first goal in the competition. Junior Messias netted Milan's fourth goal in stoppage time, as they finish second in the group while Salzburg qualify for the Europa League after finishing third. 

Group F
Real Madrid 5-1 Celtic
Defending champions Real Madrid were in a rampant mood after thrashing Celtic 5-1 in their final group game. The first half proved to be a quiet affair, with both Luka Modric and Rodrygo getting on the score-sheet from the penalty spot. Marco Asensio, Vinicius Junior and Federic Valverde completed the rout for Real in the second half, while Jota netted a late consolation for the Scottish champions.

Shakhtar Donetsk 0-4 RB Leipzig
Second-place RB Leipzig finished the group stage phase with a 4-0 thrashing of Shakhtar Donetsk. Christopher Nkunku opened the scoring on 10 minutes for the home side, before Andre Silva, Dominik Szoboszlai and own goal from Valeriy Bondar sealed a big win. Shakhtar, meanwhile, finished third in the group and will compete in the Europa League.

Manchester City 3-1 Sevilla
Group G winners Manchester City rallied from behind to defeat Sevilla 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Rafa Mir put the LaLiga side ahead on 31 minutes, before debutant Rico Lewis levelled matters for the English champions seven minutes after the break. Julian Alvarez put City ahead in the 73rd minute while Riyad Mahrez sealed the win with seven minutes left on the clock.

FC Copenhagen 1-1 Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund and FC Copenhagen settled for a share of the spoils in their final group game on Wednesday night.Thorgan Hazard gave Dortmund the lead in the 23rd minute, but the home side were back on level terms four minutes before the break through Hákon Arnar Haraldsson. Dortmund finish second in the group, while Copenhagen miss out on third spot after failing to win a single game.
