Real Estate Boom Leads To Increased Demand For Granite And Marble In Pune

The real estate boom has led to an increase in demand for granite and marble by more than 10 percent, according to Sanjay Agarwal, Director of Ceratec Group. The surge in demand for marble, granite, quartz, stones, tiles, and other materials has not been limited to Pune but has also been observed in other cities like Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Kolhapur, Ahmednagar, and Aurangabad.
Sanjay Agarwal added that the use of marble and granite in commercial realty, such as hotels, malls, resorts, and offices, has also contributed to the increased demand. He further noted that the demand for luxury homes has driven the need for branded Italian marble, granite, quartz, stone, tiles, clamshell sanitaryware, and bathroom fittings.
Ceratec Group, which has been in the marble business for 15 years, caters to the rising demand for these materials in Pune and other cities. The company offers various natural stone products, including Kalinga Stone and Paradigm, as well as sanitary ware and bathroom fixtures from brands such as Toto, Kohler, Vitra, and American Standard.
The company also plans to introduce international brands of world-class tiles, ceramic, marble, and sanitary ware in the near future. Ceratec Group currently operates a showroom of around one lakh square feet in Katraj Ambegaon, Pune, where customers can find Branded Italian Marbles, Granites, Quartz, Stones, tiles, CP sanitaryware, and bathroom fittings.
The increasing demand for granite and marble has been fueled by the boom in the real estate sector after the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, Ceratec Group and other businesses in the industry are experiencing growth and expansion opportunities.
